DESCRIPTION

This majestic original bronze sculpture by Vincenzo Romanelli, comes as a pair of two African Elephants in combat or can be acquired as single pieces by request. As a pair, the interaction between the two elephants animates the sculptures and enhances its beauty. The carefully selected pose captures two male elephants ready to lock tusks as they use their power and weight to battle each. The elegant yet bestial power conveyed by Vincenzo’s hands is breathtaking. The sculptures were cast in bronze at the Florentine foundry using the traditional lost wax method in 2015, the patina reflects the true colourings of the African elephants. African Elephants in combat is a limited edition of 12 pieces, signed, numbered and dated.
