WILD BOAR HEAD

DESCRIPTION

This wild boar head is a striking sculpture created by Vincenzo Romanelli in 2011. A symbol of the Tuscan countryside, the boar was studied by the artist in its local habitat. This is part of a collection of pieces that depict this animal in vivid detail, lively poses, and striking texture to mimic its coat. Modelled in clay and then cast in bronze using the lost-wax method. It is part of a twelve piece limited series, in which each sculpture is numbered, dated, and signed.
