CHAMOIS ON MARBLE

DESCRIPTION

This original sculpture by Vincenzo Romanelli, captures an alpine chamois standing gracefully on a rock, represented by a piece of precious marble. The contrast of colours between the bronze and marble, makes this a striking piece and embodies the captivating presence of this agile alpine animal. Modelled in clay by Vincenzo in 2016, having studied the chamois in its natural alpine habitat. The sculpture was cast in bronze at the Florentine foundry using the traditional lost wax method, the patina reflects the true markings of the chamois. Chamois on Marble is a limited edition of 12 pieces, signed, numbered and dated.
