DESCRIPTION

Part of a series of sculptures of wild boar created as a homage to the wilderness of Vincenzo’s home region, Tuscany, this piece was made in 2015. It depicts with vivid detail a young wild boar as it stands in its local habitat. Vincenzo modelled the sculpture in clay and then it was cast in bronze using the lost-wax casting method. The stunning texture of the piece captures in a naturalistic way the coat of the animal. This is part of a limited edition of 12 pieces, all numbered, dated, and signed.
